Hibernaculum
Hibernaculum is Belton-based reverberation with three reverb modules arranged in series or parallel modes, with built-it JFET overdrive, master true bypass footswitch plus wet-channel disengage footswitch allowing for echo tails and overdrive always-on use.
Each reverb module has own volume (chamber) and decay length controls.
overlay mode arranges reverb modules in parallel. cascade mode arranges them in series (clean signal goes into 1st reverb module, then wet signal is processed again in 2nd, then result is processed again in 3rd). Center position arranges 1 & 2 modules in parallel and 3rd in series.
reuse - feedback control with high-passed signal taken from 3rd reverb module output; in cascade mode each decay setting has impact on overall feedback behavior, chamber volume controls do not
amplitude - master volume
clean tone removal - post reverb JFET overdrive master gain
presence - post reverb master treble-cut (neutral setting is maxed)
bypass footswitch - master true bypass
reverberation footswitch - reverb effect on/off
infinity momentary footswitch - maximizes feedback
Internal controls:
gain trimmer - allows to increase JFET gain a bit
bias trimmer - reasonable to keep it intact at factory setting
Power consumption is up to 260mA. Use center-negative regulated DC power supply only (standard 2.1x5.5mm barrel). Quality isolated power supply rated for at least 300mA is recommended.
