Harmonic Disarray Occurence
HDO is a classic 250 overdrive with Tremond functionality. So basically it is dual overdrives design. Killer for bass or exploring new dimension of 250 circuit.
250 part comes with new old stock 741 integrated circuit and addition of treble cut control ('stock' 250 setting is with tone knob maxed) and output buffer.
170 channel is a discrete mosfet low gain overdrive just like in Tremond, but with extended tonal range - with filter turned CCW it is brighter (actually a clean sound) and turned CW presents a bit deeper treble cut plus bass boost.
In this pedal, instead of clipping switch, I used 170 channel gain knob (which is internal trimmer in Tremond), to make a new opportunity for mixing two different types and voices of overdriven sound. 170 channel gain maxed provides similar amount of dirt that 250 channel gain around 10-11 o'clock, but that's enough to bring growling and compressed low-end into extremely satisfying blend game.
Demo coming soon.
It is not a regular lineup model, but I guess i will make it once in a while if there is interest.
