Contact Sheet Fuzz
Contact sheet fuzz is based on op-amp muff (V5) with tone bypass setting, but instead actual tone bypass there is a simple tone control with neutral response at max - neat and effective solution with no actual mid scoop. It is not extremely heavy fuzz circuit, but has no low gain setting either - excellent choice for anyone looking for Tremond's functionality but heavier character overall, or a solid op-amp muff with neat features.
Whole pedal is built on Tremond’s 'engine’, meaning the same blend circuit with parallel mosfet booster path and its dedicated low pass filter. Booster channel comes with its own gain trimmer and in fact gain cranked provides more cohesive mix with fuzz channel.
Unlike typical muffs there are proper input and output buffers so pedal is also immune to outside world.
Pedal is finished in sanded aluminum enclosure with one of a kind screen printing - instead 'normal’ graphics I burned the screen with my 35mm negatives, virtually making a printable contact sheet. So each unit comes with unique set of frames.
I like silver top knobs like on photo, but if you prefer smaller transparent knobs I used on video, this also is a reasonable option - just let me know.
Controls:
master - output level
tone - rolls off treble content at fuzz channel when turned CCW
fuzz - fuzz channel heaviness
blend - CW for fuzz channel, CCW for booster channel
boost LPF - sets cut-off frequency and bass boost level of booster channel
fuzz HPF toggle - full range fuzz at center setting; low-cut with emphasized attack and midrange at down setting; low-cut with emphasized gritty textured at up setting
Internal controls:
booster gain trimmer - increases gain of booster channel; default setting is at minimum, but I recommend cranking it up to maximum
No battery operation possible with this pedal. Feed it only with standard 9V DC negative center power supply. Current draw is below 10 mA.
